History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. Adelard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: John was born with his mother's beautiful face. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and revenge
