History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Lance was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Lance was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.
