History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Raymond's homeland. Raymond decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Jocelyn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: The child of a Ruler, who enjoyed hunting, Adam was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Adam alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Banker.
