History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

History: Born in the west to a Spice Merchant, Alex learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Spice Merchant and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Detective, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Manfred was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He struck the Dilettante job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Dilettante responsibilities is difficult; and to prove his worth to the world
