Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Lance embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Lance was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: Roger speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Roger was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gifted student he started as a Crown-heir, but he got bored and became a Unemployed. He struck the Unemployed job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Expand his business.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Chad and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he is renowned for his bright green suits and hats. He wears his auburn hair up. This gray eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: Thomas was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and he is unsatisfied with his job
