History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and doesn't want to be a miner and was forced into it by his family

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Butcher. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Chad was born the youngest of three triplets. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and to settle down with his crush

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Adelard was born with his father's beautiful face. He found a children's book about a Human Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
