History: Jocelyn was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shipwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Anselm isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
