History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He struck the Carpenter job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and balancing his hectic life and new carpenter responsibilities is difficult

His hair is long and silver with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Ernest wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Mason arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Ernest's homeland. Ernest decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

The war was a terrible time for him, and Bernard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Bernard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Bernard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
