History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born in the north. Jocelyn was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Mayor. After a long history of fighting, Jocelyn and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Guy alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Expand his business; and balancing his hectic life and new gardener responsibilities is difficult

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Bertram was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Shoemaker. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Geoffrey was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Geoffrey's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it
