Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, John's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Thomas was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Laborer. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: The child of a Scribe, who enjoyed hunting, Hugh was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
