Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gerald embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Gerald lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Description: With tan face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he dresses in black turtlenecks beneath a pastel coat with tan slacks. His chestnut hair is cut short. He has hazel eyes and a black hat with a pastel feather.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Ernest is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born in a small forest village. Ernest liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Cory has worked very hard to control his curse. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is light but he possesses many white ritualistic tattoos. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a yellow suit, white shirt, and tan tie. His hair is golden and curly. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Heward was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. After a long history of fighting, Heward and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.

His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, John will drive conversation. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy
