Description: With brown face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he likes to wear brown tank tops with black pants. He has styled his chestnut hair well, parting it to the right. His eyes are brown.
Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and regain custody of his son

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Armorer. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He is bald on top and has large red tufts of hair around his ears. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he desires power and/or immortality

He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'4" when asserting himself. He is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around his ears. This brown eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Barber for the past few years.

Description: He wears tan robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a warhammer, but if one is not available he will default to his sword. His hair is golden and curly. This blue eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and an old rival family wants him found
