History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He struck the Shipwright job and began his own company from there.

He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

His father taught him the rudiments of the Painter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Frederick was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
