Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Nicholas hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting goblins, the young Nicholas began to lead the lost caravan. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Dean was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Dean's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Bernard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Theodoric's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Theodoric grew up listening to his father's many stories. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.
