His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Blacksmith for the past few years.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many orcs want him driven away

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

History: Born to a Priest, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Performer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Performer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Dean was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Performer responsibilities is difficult.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.
