Description: He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He is portly but not overly obese. His blonde hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.
History: Kyle lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Conrad embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Priest but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Priest. He tends to his Priest job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He receives visions of the future at random moments
History: Bernard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. With a patchy golden beard and wild golden hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.
History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting illithids, the young Rolf began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: Heward lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He found a children's book about a Human Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
