History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Alex alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the south to a Interpreter, Jocelyn learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A freak accident while working with his Cook mother left him crippled. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Description: He wears tan robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a crossbow, but if one is not available he will default to his monstrous two handed axe. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His silver hair is knotted and matted. His ears are large.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Hugh was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Hugh's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Hugh and his spouse have recently divorced.
