Personality: He is a Detective first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born in the south. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Kyle alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Detective for the past few years.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. He worked as a nervous Barkeep and found it very stressful. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Barkeep.
