History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: Theobald is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has never given up on his writing dream.
