Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Anselm's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Anselm was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Anselm's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He found a children's book about a Human Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: Patrick speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Patrick's homeland. Patrick decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Nicholas was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
