Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Nicholas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has never given up on his singing dream.

History: He is a Chromatic Dragon in disguise. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Ruler and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to reunite with his old friends
