History: He was raised in a plains tribe. Roland liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: This dark-skinned male is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He wears his black hair up. He has violet eyes and a black hat with a brown feather.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he's in love

Description: He wears pastel robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a longbow, but if one is not available he will default to his nunchaku, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'6" when asserting himself. His blonde hair, when down, is lengthy. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
