Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. The war was a terrible time for him, and Charles does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Norman was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Glassblower, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Born to a Ruler, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
