Through the years after Theodoric was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of brigands

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Raymond was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Map Maker. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
