Adam took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Simon lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Personality: Chad hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Herbalist.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He's in love.
