History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Alex was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Engraver. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Engraver and was forced into it by his family; and an old rival family wants him found

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
