History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Lewis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Lewis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and a deep hatred of orcs

He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Thomas never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
