History: Ernest hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Cook they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Crown-heir, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
