Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty blue coat over it. His long blonde hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.
History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His hair is short and golden. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Slave Trader. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Slave Trader but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Slave Trader. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Slave Trader responsibilities is difficult; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He plays an instrument quite well.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 6'2". He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down, and his gloved hand is found clutching a scimitar. He wears a colorful flower in his black hair. His half smiles and blue eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Description: He wears grey trousers with black and pastel striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'1" when asserting himself. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.
History: The child of a Carpenter, who enjoyed hunting, Gerald was taken on many hunting expeditions. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and an old rival family wants him found
