History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: Gerard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside.
