History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Blacksmith.

History: Nicholas was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 6 years.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and someone believes him a fraud
