History: Frederick was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Frederick alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.
