Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.
