History: He was born in a small forest village. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Arnold never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Godfrey was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
