Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He dresses in red turtlenecks beneath a blue coat with black slacks. His chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His brown eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and his religion dominates his actions

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This man prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized aquamarine on his left hand. He keeps his auburn hair in a flapper bob. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. A true patriot, Lance would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Lance was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His red hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Gerald speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Gerald was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Banker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Servant, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and wishes to resurrect an old love
