Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears tattered old clothes. He has moderate length white hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hugh does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Hugh was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: He dresses in green turtlenecks beneath a pastel coat with brown slacks. He carries with him a set of longswords on his belt, each one with a jet on the hilt. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He married young, but lost his spouse to giants. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and he wants revenge against giants

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and tan, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He carries with him a set of scythes on his belt, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. His golden hair is braided into rings. He has several tiny amethyst earrings on each ear.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: To protect his home; and further expansion of business

Description: He wears a tight fitting white shirt and pants. His golden hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hubert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He wants revenge against orcs; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
