History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Bertram was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bookbinder. He's also a talented Sage, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Healer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Cory and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it.
