Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a tattered pair of loose pastel pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. He keeps his black hair in a pixie cut. His eyes are blue and beady.
Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Robert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a marshal and was forced into it by his family

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a scythe on his belt. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.
History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has never given up on his writing dream.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This slender man stands about 5'7". He wears silk and lounges about seductively. His white hair is cut short. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Justin embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Justin was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. After a long history of fighting, Justin and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: He was born in the east. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Peter has worked very hard to control his curse. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Description: Standing 6'1", this man is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. He sports a flattop hair cut. His amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kody does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Servant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.
