Description: A man of a pale complexion, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He has a blonde handlebar mustache and slicked back blonde hair. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Sailor. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Aldous hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. After coming to the age of reason, Aldous took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has worked as a Sailor like his mother before him.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

He sports a long auburn beard, and similarly colored long hair. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thomas grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
