History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. After a long history of fighting, Shane and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and further expansion of business

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lance grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Human Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born in the south to a Blacksmith, Gerald learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Revenge; and a deep hatred of goblins
