History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Richard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Godfrey was born the youngest of three triplets. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Guard and was forced into it by his family; and to reunite with his absent mother

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Frederick was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
