History: John was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is fixated on the number 21. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Lance was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Crown-heir hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a Crown-heir soon after.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his glaive, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. His white hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a butterfly scrunchie. His skin is flawless and his gray eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
