He found a children's book about a Human Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Roland was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His first spouse was a Masseuse, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
