Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a tattered pair of loose black pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His blonde hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Anselm was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bow.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: He wears tattered old clothes. He carries with him a set of longswords, each one with a ruby on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He wears a Stetson hat to cover his moderate length black hair. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Carter born in the past three hundred years. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.
History: Born in the west to a Carter, Solomon learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His tied-back hair is auburn. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.
History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, he wears a black cloak and cross-gartered red stockings. His black hair has been sun bleached extensively. This green eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends
