History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Theobald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and many dire rats want him driven away
