History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Norman speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Norman liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, John will drive conversation. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He is fixated on the number 24. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
