History: Born in the north to a Dilettante, Percival learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Cook, but he was a colossal failure. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Peter was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Detective. After a long history of fighting, Peter and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Conrad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.
