History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bather, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Mason who has hired him part-time. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Seamstress. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
