History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Kody was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Beggar. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Kody never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Simon's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Simon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Simon took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up monstrous two handed axe and armor he uses now. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
