History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Everard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Raymond abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
